Joan Boccino
Joan Boccino, MS, L.Ac. is a specialist in integrative medicine. She has designed acupuncture protocols for clinical trials at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where she was the first non-MD to be hired by the Center’s Department of Integrative Medicine. A faculty member at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York, Joan has lectured internationally on the use of Chinese Medicine in an integrative medicine context. Joan is nationally certified in Oriental Medicine (which includes Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine), by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). A graduate of the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, Joan has also studied in China including postgraduate work at the Yue Yang Integrative Medicine Hospital in Shanghai. She continues to seek out extensive postgraduate study with leading experts in Chinese Medicine here and abroad.

A student of martial arts since 1980, Joan holds a black belt and teaching certificates in Shotokan karate and currently studies Seidokan and Tai Chi. She is a professional member of The American Association of Oriental Medicine, The American Society of Reproductive Medicine and Resolve. A certified herb geek who loves to cook, Joan also blogs about Chinese Dietary Therapy.

Jeanette Busch
In addition to her acupuncture practice, Jeanette Busch, MS, L.Ac. has been a practicing dental hygienist for over 25 years. She is a specialist in temporomandibular joint disorders (TMJ or TMD) along with  related head and neck problems and has also come to focus on fertility and women's health. Jeanette is nationally certified in Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She is a graduate of the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and has recently completed course work in advanced acupuncture with renowned scholar Jeffrey Yuen. Jeanette is also a professional member of Resolve.

Ioana Boambes

Ioana Boambes, MS, L.Ac, LMT, is a graduate of the Acupuncture MS program led by Jeffrey Yuen at the Swedish Institute, and a national board-certified acupuncturist. Ioana is also a licensed Massage Therapist and is certified in the Medical Massage for Cancer Program, and Reiki Professional Touch Therapy through Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. She is in the process of completing her national board certification in Chinese Herbology. She has completed a year of clinical work at Montefiore Hospital, as well as a clinical rotation at the Hospital for Special Surgery, and at the outpatient section of ACQC.

Ioana is an avid yoga and meditation practitioner, enjoys experimenting with the visual arts, and is struggling to reconcile her love of nature with her fascination with technology.

Maggie Staiger
Maggie Staiger is a Certified Clinical Hypnotist with six years of clinical experience. She has worked with clients to successfully resolve numerous issues including smoking cessation, IBS, creativity problems, stage-fright, and other medical complaints such as pain and symptom control.

In 2004 she completed training in hypnosis treatment for functional GI disorders at the UNC Center for Functional GI and Motility Disorders of the School of Medicine of UNC, at Chapel Hill. Maggie employs this UNC protocol often in her practice with great results.

In addition to her hypnosis training, Maggie worked for over twenty years as a 911 paramedic in New York City where she also taught Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Cardiac Life Support to health care providers.
